Held in conjunction with the Milne Volunteer Bushfire Brigade, the Bynoe Harbour Camp-Out Fishing and Crabbing Competition is a great way to spend some time over the Queen's Birthday weekend.
Prizes are awarded to Adult and Junior competitors for the heaviest fish caught over the two day event from the following species, Barramundi, golden snapper, salmon, rock cod Jewfish, queen fish and mackerel. Prizes are also awarded for the heaviest mud crab weighted in overall. A surprise mystery weight will also be awarded.
Fishing and crabbing can take place in the Bynoe Harbour as far as Indian Island and at the fresh water Finniss. Only two fish per species per angler per day can be weighed in for all prize pools.
