Fletcher Christian was built on nearly 6 acres (more than 2 hectares) of family land, conveniently located adjacent to the shops, restaurants, clubs and visitor facilities.
Fletcher Christian was first established in 1965 by Bernie Christian-Bailey, a Bounty descendant, on a lovely piece of family land. Bernie, the owner wanted to offer attractive and convenient accommodation to the modern traveller. Fifty years later, Bernie and his family continue to be proud of their high standards of service, hospitality and comfort. Our six acres of grounds, with attractive lawns and tropical plantings are right in the heart of Norfolk Island. Our apartments are colonial island-style, built of local Norfolk pine timbers to blend in with the environment.
We offer a range of one and two bedroom apartments, all very comfortable, attractive and well-equipped. We are in short walking distance of shops, tourist attractions, amenities and services. When you want to travel further afield and enjoy the rest of the island, there is a car that comes with your unit, daily car insurance is included.
